These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the StudyAxiom website and services at studyaxiom.com, operated by Samuel Davis, based in Scotland, United Kingdom. By using our site, you agree to these Terms.
StudyAxiom provides online learning resources for Scottish qualifications (National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher), including interactive notes, practice questions, and AI-powered exam-style papers. Some features may include social interaction and competitive tools such as “VS” functionality.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including features, content, or availability of courses. We aim to keep StudyAxiom available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
To use certain features, you must create an account through Supabase Auth. You must keep your login secure and not share your account with others. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
StudyAxiom is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission before purchasing any subscription or using payment features.
We offer subscriptions and paid access to certain courses. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. When you complete checkout, you provide payment details directly to Stripe; we do not store your full card details. We receive confirmation of payment and subscription status to grant access to paid content.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, access remains active until the end of the current billing period.
If a payment fails or a subscription ends, access to paid content may be paused or removed. We are not responsible for any loss of access caused by cancellation, expiry, chargeback, or payment failure.
We may change pricing or subscription offerings from time to time. Any price changes will apply to future billing cycles and we will take reasonable steps to notify you in advance where required.
We do not offer routine refunds. Refunds may be issued in cases of duplicate billing, technical billing errors, or major unplanned service outages. For details, please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts to protect users and the service.
Our AI-powered features are for educational support only. Outputs may be incorrect or incomplete. We do not guarantee exam results or accuracy. You are responsible for verifying any important content generated by AI tools.
If you use AI-powered features, the inputs you provide (and relevant context needed to answer) may be processed by our AI provider (e.g., OpenAI) as described in our Privacy Policy.
You may submit content such as answers, messages, usernames, or other inputs (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display it solely to operate and improve the service (for example, to save progress, run VS features, prevent abuse, and provide support).
You must not submit User Content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone else’s rights.
All content, software, and materials on StudyAxiom are owned by StudyAxiom or Samuel Davis, unless otherwise stated. You are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use the platform for your own study purposes only.
Custom avatars and illustrations on StudyAxiom — including depictions of historical figures such as Euclid, Pythagoras, and Euler — are original StudyAxiom brand assets. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use them outside StudyAxiom without written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the platform. We may also do so to protect other users or the service itself.
We provide StudyAxiom “as is” and make reasonable efforts to ensure reliability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are significant, we may also provide additional notice in the service.
By using StudyAxiom, you also agree to our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please read them carefully.
We rely on third-party providers (such as Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Cloudflare, and OpenAI) to deliver parts of the service. Your use of those components may be subject to their terms and policies where applicable.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in full force and effect.
